Privacy Policy

The short version

You don’t need an account to use BuildByCalc, and the calculators don’t send your measurements to us. Calculations run in your browser.

What we collect

  • Calculator inputs: processed in your browser only. If you use Share link, your inputs are put into the link itself (after the # sign), and that part of a link is never sent to our server.
  • Contact form: your name, email address and message are sent to us by email so we can reply. We don’t store them in a database or add you to any mailing list.
  • Server logs: our host, Hostinger, keeps standard web server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
  • Cookies: the site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. WordPress may set technical cookies if you log in as an administrator.

Analytics and advertising

We don’t currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add them (for example Google Analytics or Google AdSense), we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you (normally none beyond an email you sent us) and ask us to delete it. Use the contact page.

Changes

We’ll update the date at the top of this page whenever this policy changes.
